Rise-off-ground take-off is possible from any paved runway, and the Smiley even features a steerable nosewheel. For those flying from rough dirt or grass fields, hand-launching is simple.
With its twin motors Smiley has enough reserves of power for mild aerobatics, which increases the fun quotient considerably.
